elcome to the Barony of Ildhafn, in the Kingdom of Lochac (Australia & New Zealand)
 

Here you will find information about the SCA (Society for Creative Anachronism) in Auckland and Hamilton (the Canton of Cluain). We are also proud to have a group based at the University of Auckland, the Proto-College of St Dionysius.

ldhafn (and indeed the SCA) is a group of people interested in all things medieval. We hold regular medieval events where we participate in medieval tournaments, dress like medieval people, feast, dance and sing. Between events, most of us practice medieval arts & crafts, and pursue specialised areas of interest such as embroidery, armouring, sewing, heraldry, warfare, calligraphy, illumination, brewing & cooking. There are few medieval crafts that one of us would not have touched on at some time.
